Planning Your Event

Q: Will you be my/our actual DJ?
A: Absolutely! When you reserve my personal services, I will be your DJ. 

Q: Can you play music at our ceremony?
A: Of course!  From your trip up and down the isle to your signing of the registry, I can work with you to set the tone you desire for your ceremony. 

Q: Do you use professional equipment?
A: Yes! I always use professional grade equipment to ensure rich, full sound.  I also pride myself on ensuring music is played at the just the right volume, never too loud or too low.  

Q: How much do you charge?
A: My rate depends on several factors including the date, number of people and travel costs. Please feel free to contact me for a “hassle free” quote.

Q: How can I/we reserve your services?
A: Simply contact me via phone or e-mail. To fully guarantee your date and requested times, I require a deposit of the half the amount of your booking, and a signed event booking contract and liability waiver. If you do not live in the Kelowna area, I am happy to send a contract and waiver to you via e-mail. 

Q: When will my/our balance be due after I/we send my/our retainer?
A: You can pay your balance at anytime however, the balance is due on the date of your event.

The Night Of Your Event

Q: Do you provide guest interaction activities, games, etc to promote fun?
A: Yes, unless you request otherwise, I will do my best to promote a FUN atmosphere during your reception or special occasion. I have a number of different interaction activities which promote fun. We will discuss your wishes when we meet prior to your event.  It’s your special occasion and I want everything to be exactly the way you want it to be.

Q: What type of music do you play?
A: I have a large music library that contains thousands of songs. My music ranges from the Big Band sounds of the thirties through the very best versions of today’s hottest hits. I am a professional at reading a crowd and playing great music that is sure to please you and all of your guests.

Q: Do you accept music requests?
A: Yes, in fact I love requests. I will also be happy to accept requests from your guests as long as it is ok with you. As well, I am experienced in, and love playing music for ethnic weddings and events.

Q: What if there are songs/styles that we don’t want played? (ie. The Chicken Dance)
A:  My goal is to fulfill your event requirements.  If there are any songs/styles that you don’t want played, they absolutely will not be played.   

Q: Will you be setting up when guests are arriving?
A: Never!  I will set up early on the day of your event, well before your scheduled start time

Q: Can we use your microphone for speeches?
A: Definitely! 

Q: How will you dress for my/our special occasion?
A: I will be dressed professionally and appropriately.  If you have a special request for my attire, such as a themed event, just let me know.
