I recently had the privilege of working with Kalani at a wedding I emceed at and can honestly say that out of all the DJ's I have ever worked with, he was by far THE BEST DJ! He showed up well prepared and ready to go, he had a good grasp on how a wedding reception should go and was VERY HELPFUL in making sure everything flowed smoothly. Aside from being versatile, quick on his feet, and able to work with whatever was thrown at him, he was also very good at reading the crowd and ensuring everyone enjoyed the evening. When it came time for the dance, Kalani had the whole room jumping. All ages were out on the dance floor having a blast. He created an atmosphere that made people feel comfortable and relaxed. The guests loved him and he was a pleasure to work with. He is a true professional and comes with MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!! The only disappointing thing about Kalani, is that I hear he gets booked up fast!! |

Dear Kalani, We live in Edmonton, Alberta and had our wedding and reception in Kelowna, BC. Kalani was recommended to us by our photographer. Planning a wedding from another province is stressful, but Kalani helped make things easier. He was very thorough in his preparations for our big night. He is extremely professional and well-prepared. He did an awesome job, and was very helpful ,even outside of his DJing duties! Kalani played all the music that we requested. He is able to read the crowd so well that there was NEVER a moment that the dance floor was empty. At one point, EVERY SINGLE GUEST at our wedding reception was dancing in a conga line! All of our guests had a fantastic time and many commented that it was the best wedding reception that they had been to. We would definitely recommend Kalani's services to anyone planning an event in Kelowna, and would not hesitate use his services again in the future!

Hi Kalani! It's been nuts around here since we got back from our wedding! I want to express our appreciation and gratitude to you for your hard work at our wedding! I can't even tell you how happy we were with your services. Honestly, You made the reception the best night of our lives! I mean I was torn, because I wanted to keep dancing all night, and I pretty much did, but I wanted to go sit with people too! ;-) Every single person that we have talked to that was at the wedding, mentioned to us "how great our DJ was and how did we pick him?".....We didn't even have to ask if they enjoyed themselves. They just said to us how great you were. Honestly, and that shoe game wasn't planned, but it was the biggest hit! Again everyone was talking about that as well. It was GREAT! Kalani, The ceremony went beautifully, and your collaboration with my friend Jamie was excellent. Some of the guests weren't even aware that a real person was singing! They thought it was a recording! The sound was perfect. It was great that you were so flexible, and due to that we were able to have the ceremony we wanted. Our MC also commented about what a great guy you were to work with! My biggest kudos to you, Kalani, has to do with a little incident that happened about 24 hours before the wedding. When we are at the rehearsal it became apparent that the processional music wouldn't be long enough... I was very stressed out by this point, and certainly didn't need the additional stress of changing the ceremony music! However, you got back to me within about 25 minutes of my distress email, with the ideal solution. Your "supplemental" music for the ceremony was beautiful. It was such a load off to have you looking out for us, and taking care of anything that we might have overlooked. We appreciate your professionalism, and could not have asked for a better DJ... Kalani truly made our wedding into a fantastic celebration! From our first meeting with Kalani, we knew we would be in for a great party. He provided us with great ideas and advice leading up to our wedding day and made us feel at ease. He has a wonderful personality that shines through in his work, and his interaction with our family and friends was perfect. He suggested fun games like "The Shoe Game" and ideas to use in lieu of the clinking of glasses. He played the music, and provided hook ups and sound for Justin’s Aunt who played piano at our wedding ceremony which was a great help. Kalani had the dance floor ROCKIN at our wedding reception, even after the lights came on at the end of the night. I have never seen such a packed dance floor at a wedding, and it was all due to his ability and passion for entertaining people. We hired Kalani for our 80's theme legal assistant bash. He went above and beyond what we expected and made sure everybody had fun the entire night! He came up with excellent ideas on how to run the evening, including games and contents. The music was a great mix of 80's and current music, which was exactly what we were looking for. Kalani had everybody on their feet dancing and having a great time. He even dressed up like an 80's break dancer to go with our theme. Kalani went far and beyond what we would have expected for DJ services. Not only did he play music that everyone could enjoy, he was able to cater to our desire to have a real DJ that could scratch, mix, and spin. Krucial K was awesome for my sisters wedding. He had a great mix of music to suit all audiences. He was very interactive with everyone and it seemed like he had known us all for a long time. He knew just what to say. Even the bartenders said that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to.
